That's a tremendous gain from stock. Very impressive. Can't wait to see what else is in store.

Great numbers! I'm hoping to have something similar myself pretty soon. I'm just trying to work out the details of my build.

Are there any issues to look at with the short rod/stroke ratio? (short-term/long-term)

Just read this whole thread during lunchtime. Congrats on the numbers! That thing must pull real hard! ITBs on that thing must sound insane. Post some videos if you ever get the chance.

bump? If my calculations are correct then that means that its a 1.44 rod/stroke ratio which will give rod angles of 20.3deg. I would be worried about long term reliability or at least wear and tear on the engine.

Sorry to be mia for so long but I've been driving my car as much as possible. I'm still working through a couple things, like the speedo reads incorrectly sometimes, but I knew going in that there would be some things I would have to work through after the swap. I've been in contact w/ Skunk 2 about my cams and they have been outstanding. What's next? Cams and a header, I think there's still more power to pull out of this thing.

As far as the engine itself, it's great!! It def pulls a lot harder but it's not the surge of power you get w/ a turbo. It's very linear. The best way I can describe the power delivery is if you took the stock engine up a few notches. There is not an insane amount of power, just a lot more than before. The extra torque is nice, so nice that I want even more! I'm able to pull through corners without downshifting like I would have had to do before. The need to downshift when passing other cars isn't as dire of a need. And it sounds amazing! I don't care what anyone says about HKS exhaust losing power cause they sound incredible and now it gurgles even more than before! I'll try to get some video this weekend, although I'm not sure anything but first hand experience would do it justice.

What's next? Cams, a header, and possibly pull my intake manifold and smooth out the runner a little; I think there's still more power to pull out of this thing.
