F24 Build
Good build also. Very economical and great #s for the parts that were used. This thread shows its pointless to waste $3-5k on Spoon and Js when you can do the same for much less.
Some higher comp pistons, cams (that actually work), and a good mated header and you'll be making some awesome NA power.
Where did you find your long block for $700? I might pick one up and begin this build and swap out my FI once I'm bored with it.

Hey kial007 you wouldn't happen to know the compression ratio for this set up would you??? I know that sounds like a dumb question but I am thinking about the same setup but I want to go FI with it and don't want to run in this problem when i go to buy parts
My setup should be just a little higher than 11.5:1 (maybe 11.6:1) since my head has been milled very slightly. If you're going to run boost with the stock sleeves, Mahle makes low compression pistons you can use with the FRM sleeves. They are the same H22A Gold Series pistons I used but with a flat or dish top. I think they are around 9.5:1 but I can't remember the specifics.
