Mods installed on the day the car was dynoed:

Intake: Removed stock air-guide & installed Cusco radiator plate. Gutted stock airbox.
Header: Stock.
Exhaust: ASM 60mm SS single + Invidia testpipe.

Loudness: 2.5 with absolutely NO drone.

Also of note this was done on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno - which tend to read a bit low.

Hey guys,

I was wondering why you guys were switching to ap1 ecus. I'm guessing it is for the 9k rpm.

I've seen posts around this forum stating that the rods are not strong enough and will evenutally cause them to fail.

Yup for 9K RPM on 2.2L motor... people get the MY01 ECU cause it runs richer compare to MY02-03 on the top end. Running rich to be on the safe side.

s2k Kidd,

what is your impression from your mods. Low mid and high end? What about noise?
Right the car feel strong especially 1st and 2nd gear.......Vtec hits alot harder and chirps gears.....Hopefully when I get my car tuned with the Emanage it should pull alot harder I can wait
