If you want a bad ass twin turbo awd 6 cyl from japan get a VR4, they're cheap as dirt and you can put it in the 10s for under $4k
I <3 my VR4

I <3 my VR4
i researched this heavily months ago and i believe there is no way you can do this ANYMORE, if i am not mistaken. I believe it was once legal and that is why there are R34s on US soil and roads, and i have seen multiple of them in the Seattle area myself, including two GTRs that park in the same spot in the internation district every night. But yes, it has to do with the crash testing. In order to get the car legal i believe you would have to provide multiple different R34s to be crash tested, which is just NOT worth it. move to canada.

Its basically the Supra of all nissans + AWD so better in some aspects. Its racing history goes Waaaay back. It is a legend, if you have money to waste go for it, legal or not, it you got that kind of money legality doesnt matter much.
To all the people simply posting that it can be done, and posting pics to prove it:
He said he wanted it LEGAL for daily use WITHOUT an awkward title. There are plenty of skyline GTRs of all generations legal to drive in the US. They all have crap titles. Kit car, registered as a 240, Race only, Display only, Dealer only... This is NOT what he is asking about. I've known 5-6 people who have owned them, and know a couple guys bringing them in to the US through various means of modification. One owns a 4 door GTS-T R34 that is rather well known, and his is the only R34 out of that group. The R34 is on a fedral watch list, and it's hard to argue similarity to imported vehicles like you can with the R32 or 33. Only one car was an early motorex car, and to this day, it was the only one that still has a legit free and clear title.
Gif, an R34 is a no go for a clean title here in the US. I would either sell the car, or take one of the more legitimate avenues above, and bring it in as a kit car. Good luck!

don't see how you could say there is no way to drive anything but the R33 when I've seen many R32's a a couple R34's on the streets around here.
BTW, we just sold "Bigbird" and both the other Skylines are up for sale. If anyone is *seriously* interested, drop me a PM and I'll give you contact information.
