you essentially pick the intake you want and go with it......

the performance difference between intakes is pretty much non existent. Find one that fits your budget and you think looks alright.

I could care less what it looks like. I just want a cheap, loud intake that makes gains at high rpms.

Any suggestions?

I have an Injen CAI that I paid $75 for. Looks good, sounds great and feels a bit more responsive. I can't see spending crazy amounts of money on something that basically does the same thing as something cheaper.

These are both similar in design. If you can take care of the heat issues these will give you the most power and the best sound.

well for some of us looks matter as much as power. some people will only settle for power, others won't settle unless they have both. my mugen has way better throttle response than stock. it sounds great. i got for a little under a grand used and it's jdm ballin. so get what works for YOU, and not anyone else. good luck.

Here's what an HKS intake sounds like. (Coupled with a HKS exhaust that is... Forgive the garbage driving)

According to HKS, 7hp gain? I'll know when I dyno tune next week.

Personal gains: Incredible throttle response, reckless sound, bling engine bay.
