This is a frequent problem with the J's resonator. You're not the first.

One guy had a thread about 6 months ago where his resonator went out on his FX, but AJ-Racing (I think that was the shop, maybe Bulletproof) got J's Racing to fix it under warranty b/c it was less than a year old.

Yours is obviously older than that, but why not contact the shop you bought it from and see if they can set something up with J's, I would much rather have them do the welds than anybody stateside anyway.

Is there any way to fix this rattle? My 60RS has this problem and it makes my car sound like a junker. I love the exhaust note but that rattle...

make sure your o2 sensor is on tight. for a second i thought my j's exhaust had a rattle, but it was actually a loose o2 sensor.

0 problems with my 70rs.

Was the resonator actually fixed/replaced or cut-out and a straight-pipe put in?

I had mine cut-out and it was very loud after. As loud or louder than the 70.

He cut the res open - re-welded a loose Ti baffle -- re-packed some of the kevlar wrap (or whatever they use...) that had been displaced by the loose baffle -- and closed it up again..

Sez it should be as good as new.

I'm picking it up this Tuesday --- gotta go down to Carson to get some new rubber from Arnel anyway so I'm making a trip out of it....

I might sell my Amuse dual and get my J's 60rs back if I can have it fixed. Let us know how it turned out.
