id take ohlins or bilstein over either the KW3 or tein...but if yer saying just the kw's or tein, kw's for sure. dont even bother with tien unless it's their high end stuff.

Of course I know the KWs are the superior product, but I'm not actively competing in anything and if the Teins performed well and were durable, they might have been worth saving the thousand + dollars.
In the end, I think I'm going to hold off and pick up the KWs as soon as the holiday shopping is done. They're probably overkill as I only track the car 3-4 times a year, but I know I'll be happier with them in the long run.

For the S2000, they make V1, V2 and V3
Most people who track their cars frequently like the V3 for street/track compromise, but in your case the V2 may be more fitting. And if you are looking at 1 way adjustable, I would also compare the Bilstein PSS9 spring/stiffness rates with the Tein Flex and the KW V2.
I don't have experience with Tein, but their customer service seems to be very poor. My friend just bought a set of Tein SS and installed it in his Miata.
He believed the install instructions were wrong. After checking with others on a forum, they all agree that the instructions are incorrect, since others have experienced the same problem. But since the instructions say to install it a certain way, he doesn't want to install it a different way and void warranty.
He contacted Tein, and they told him that the engineer (I guess they must have only one??) is out of the country and no one there can answer his question. The best they could do is tell him to remove the coilovers from the car and take pics so they can email them to the engineer in order to get a response. And he doesn't have time to do that on his daily driver. Besides, who knows if he'll get a response based on pics.
He has a track day coming up, and wanted to make sure they're installed correctly before going out there and driving at the limit. Makes me think twice before buying any of their products.
Edit: And the engineer will be out of the country for one whole month!
Depends on what you're going to do with it. Less than 10 for most people will be streetable and some track. anything above that I think is getting too stiff for a comfortable ride on the street. Some would even say 10kg is too stiff for the street. Its all about purpose and the driver.
i have 10k front and 8k rear on my integra w/ koni yellows full firm. im buying an S soon and i'd like a similar ride while considering i'd like something firm for the street but more aggressive for when im able to race it in small events.
