Still running great at 120,000 miles, no issues whatsoever. Car fires up in the morning like stock, idles like stock, and goes like hell

Good to hear. Which kit did you go with? The 50mm TWMs?

Also I think I remember seeing alejo having a FS thread for his ITBs

1. No, unless you can fab a mount to attach the dbw actuator and tps to the itb throttle linkage.
2. Yes. A separate summer and winter tune is necessary if you live in an area that experiences climate change.
3. ROFL Air filters are for pussies. No (manufactured) filter shroud fits under the hood of the s2k, and anything you place at the inlet of the velocity stacks is going to create a pressure differential and kill the nozzle effect that makes ITB's perform in the first place.

I've seen DIY's such as this before, but would you really want to try something like this on your car when their are more than enough kits out there?

I agree with you that there are tons of kits out there... but there is just some type of satisfaction that you get when you build your own stuff and can make even 1 more HP. I dunno, guess just seeing if I can actually do it.
