NA: ITB's
Hey guys, love the thread lots of useful info...
Have a question....Anyone in NY running ITBs on a daily car? I spoke to my tuner who has done much ITB tuning on roadrace/drag cars and has suggested I don't got is route. He said the car basically will not start with a cold start, and will never be stable enough to be able to enjoy it fully. Big bummer for me, since I refuse to go FI with this car, and would like more power. Inhave the I/H/TP/E and tune that I am very happy with, I was just looking forthat extra last something to add to the already potent motor....any info would be great

Well after reading all these pages and learning (with a smile on my face in fact). I have def decided to go ITB.
Just checked out emeralds side and all it has is a pdf with pricing. I was wondering if its still the kit they used to offer back when a few people in here did their builds? I guess i could just give them a call too lol.
Wildcard im still amazed you have a drivers side vented hood in FL and drive that thing in the rain, makes me picture a mad scientist with crazy hair and goggles! Tons of solid info from you on here.
Im located in Montgomery Al so i will def have those rain days but nothing like FL.
To SvkBBS2K. I am pretty sure after reading all this info that no mater how cold it is as long as you spend enough time tinkering with tuning and idle that you wont have issues.
I currently have the PWD JDM induction kit. (bought with extra monies and i have wanted one of those since before i even got the car so flame on) I will probably modify and use the induction kit to supply freshy fresh air to the ITBs when i get them. I have a 75mm HKS Hi Power single. Plan to get hytech long tube n/a header + short test pipe and use AEM EMS v2 to tune with.
Before reading all this i was still 50/50 on if i wanted to ITB or just call up endyn and say here is yo monies, now make me the ponies! But just like the PWD JDM intake ive always wanted ITBs so its one of those passion things. Thanks again for all the info in here!
