Its been so long since I've had a basemap that's not tweaked for ITB's, I can't honestly remember what the timing was at idle - I pretty sure it was low, less than 10 degrees.

When my engine is cold, it idles about 1000 - as it warms up, it idles about 1250-1300, but then if I kick on the A/C, it hovers around 950-1050 while the compressor is engaged. If I try to turn on the A/C before the engine is up to temp, it idles roughly about 800-900, pretty low and lopey, but won't stall, even though it feels like it wants too. Kinda makes the car vibrate like an old school muscle car

Blubblubblub *pause* blub blub blub blubblubblub *pause* cough blub blub blub (my crappy impersonation of cold idle A/C on )
cant freaking wait till I can afford this kind of setup!!!!

I want to order mine soon, but im still trying to decide all of what I need to order from Fuji racing.

I know I want the Jenveys, but I hear theirs little tweaks and what not you can do to still retain the heat, ac, iavc, and the tps issue.

So you had to advance the timing? Is this for starting issues with the ITB's?
The more timing I gave it, the more it leaned out the idle, and the idle rpm's and engine load started slowly coming down. I kept advancing the idle timing until the engine load was down to about 45%, and throttle response off-idle became razor crisp. My knock sensor still isn't showing anything, and w/o an EGT I can't be for certain that everything is going according to plan in there with 17 degrees of timing at 1000 rpm, but the setup really seems to like it.
I also did this to remove the occasional flamout that would happen at idle (similar looking to the ITB badge, but only once cylinder and random occurence). I only have one more spot in my map, somewhere around 3000 rpm, when I just give it throttle, that I get a small flamout - I haven't narrowed down the cell to blame yet, but it's getting close.

everything you mentioned doesn't require any tweaks - the heat and A/C system are untouched by the addition of ITB's. The TPS come with the ITB's so its just a matter of unplugging the stock one and plugging the new one it, and as far as the IACV, you don't really need it, but if you feel that it is necessary, it would be really easy to fabricate a way to mate it to a vacuum block.

I have to agree with wildcardtrd about the IACV. Although my system has it plumbed in, I don't think its doing a whole lot. Atleast not at the moment anyway...

So you used MORE advance timing to bring your idle down?

I noticed when I did that, the exhaust started to pop.

I'll have to mess around with it this weekend...

yea, my exhaust defenately pops and lopes when idling - sounds much better IMO

Hahah it's preference I guess.

I'm undecided about what to do about my timing at idle right now. I think I'm gonna try to make it idle as stock as possbile (sound wise).

Anyways, who cares how much power we make at idle

you can trim your decel fuel usage either through the decel fuel parameters, or by leaning out the fuel cells that are below 35% engine load - where the map goes when you let off the gas...

My gas mileage on the highway has been improved overall from stock, I can get between 250-280 miles before the light comes one...in the city though, I'm lucky if I get 200 before the fuel light comes on.
