VTEC settings with V-AFC2?
Is it bad to change it to 5K? Or keep it at 6K since honda set it there for a reason? Also, do I need certain spark plugs while using VAFC2? I currently have the OEM NGK ones. Still keep them with VAFC2? Also, if I change my VTEC to 5K, will I still have VTEC all the way to 9K?
Its bad to mess with the VAFC without a dyno to tell you if your changes are helping or hurting performance
I would leave it alone and take it to a tuner
The redline will stay 9k no matter what. If you lower Vtec too much the car will bog.
The spark plugs really dont matter with the VAFC. If you have changed the fuel settings, I would recommend monitoring them to see if the car is running rich (very black plugs) or too lean (almost white tipped plugs).
I have seen people mess there motors up pretty bad by tampering with VAFC's. I would say you are better off going to a dyno for some tuning i.e. Church, Autowave, Dynamic, XS etc...

That would depend on the supporting mods. I think you can get healthy gains in the midrange and maybe 7-10 up top with I/H/E combo maybe a little more with TP. Just guessing based on what others have said and experienced.
I think there is a lot more discussion on the topic in NA Tuning thread though and probably dyno plots
