What are the specs of the Amuse S2000?
speaking of aero parts...
I was informed that the front and rear diffusers are nothing more than bling pieces- simply b/c of the fact that this car doesnt go more than 160 mph (which is why all ferrari's and other supercars come equipped with them). I always thought that the diffusers would provide car stability past 75 mph.
Anybody want to chime in on this?

here's the fact: They work even at low speeds (75-100mph), but not enough to make enough difference. So they are not completly useless, but they should be used as a supplement to a smaller GT wing. Or just have 1 big wing, and you can ditch the diffuser all together.

your in CA, so j's/amuse/mugen I/H/E are all carb illegal, so not sure if you thought about that

There was a good article in Evo magazine (British magazine, and in my opinion the best automotive magazine ever produced) regarding the Enzo and it's downforce levels. I wish I had the info here...but what really intreigued me was that downforce levels peaked at something like 170mph and then downforce was reduced past that point. Its a damn complicated topic, and I dont want to derail this thread, but I found it interesting that the car doesnt use drag producing traditional wings for downforce, but rather lift reducing underbody aerodynamics and overall body shape to create more drag free downforce.
At any rate, I'd agree that 70mph+ the diffuser will provide benefit, and the benefit will increase with speed...whether the benefit decreases at some peak speed is the point that I dont have an answer for but it interest s me.
Comparing J's and Amuse parts is hard, they are both extremely high quality. I'd say from dealing with both brands so much, that the quality, attention to detail and finish of the Amuse Titanium parts exceeds J's quality. So if you appreciate that sort of thing, the AMuse is better for a part to hang in an art gallery.
Power wise, they're both excellent and both gain considerable horsepower.
The J's is typically a better value and in the end will probably remain more popular beause power gains are similar at a lower price.

as far as the diffusor's go at speed i can atest for the Top Secret one. when i had it installed on my car i didn't have a large wing to creat a lot of down force. i had the mugen 3pc. after installing the diffusor the rear end of my car felt much more stable at high way speeds, especially through turns.

I dont believe everyone has J's parts. There are a few of us that do but thats not a lot. Maybe 12 guys. When I use that number I am talking about complete Js Racing engine bays, Type S bodykits, Type V hoods, etc. A lot of guys jumped on the J's Racing bandwagon and now they are as popular as Spoon but the good news is you get gains with the products unlike some.
i know when i got to the track with some of the guys on the board soon, i can care less if i break my cf lip etc. thats what its there for
spoon is what ev, i ran there parts long ago and felt no gains etc. id prolly never run there items again engine wise(i/h/e)
I agree about Spoon, I've dealt with a lot of their parts and it's never impressed me. The brand/name is strong, but the quality of their parts is generally unimpressive...although since they outsource so much production it really depends on the part and true manufactuerer of it. I see Spoon's true strength to be their service/fabrication, which is unfortuantely something that has no relevance to us on the other side of the ocean.
Mugen parts have also been eclipsed by other tuners. I remember when the S2000 first came out, the Mugen header and exhaust were top notch compared to the alternatives. Now there are so many better headers and exhausts that I discourage my customers from buying those particular Mugen parts. On a side note, their SS front bumper is SICK in person...until recently I had no idea just how nicely designed it was.
