keep your ass planted in the seat with this lap belt. allow yourself to make the proper inputs, not hang on to the wheel for support. push the brake as hard as you want without using your other leg as a brace. no holes to drill. just use your stock seatbelt mounting bolts without removing the stock belts. you can also flod them behind the seat when not in use. why use a lap belt instead of a full harness? without a true scca legal roll bar you are in danger of serious injury in the event of a roll over due to the height and strength of the stock rool hoops. in theory with a lap belt or the stock belts you have a freedom of movement and can roll your body toward the center of the car. this belt has been a great asset, make it yours.
