I'm up for meeting up and making the trip together if you are. It's a nice trip over the bay bridge and through eastern MD and up.
Sure, it'd be fun to meet up. Not sure when you were planning on leaving, but I'm not trying to get there super early. Maybe leave at 6 or slightly earlier. I'll get in touch once you've decided for sure if you're going.

Jon, I am registered. I need a little more time than you since I have to unpack the wheels, and what not. I am planning on arriving at 8:00 and think I will leave at about 5:40. That should be enough time for both a minimal contingency plan if there is traffic or lane closures over the bridge, and provide for an arrival in time to get ready quickly.

Mike, I think you 350Z should be able to keep up with two S2000s on the highway. You might not look as cool, but your car should be able to keep us at least in sight I could bring two of your wheels if you need.

... you really need to ditch that Nissan and get an S/ ... "hear me now, believe me later"

I am going to stick with Waldorf.....appreciate the offer. I already paid, etc earlier in the week. Is there any more events at Dover this year?

Jon, are you coming down for the Oct 22-23 event at "big" hershey?

P.S. You guys are too fast for me...I wouldn't be able to keep up .

How was Dover?

Gotta admit....AI was pretty awesome. I probably had my best event(s) of the year today. Both courses combined, I was only about 1s off Strano (raw time) in his Z06.

That said, Jr Johnson showed up and put a beat down on the rest of us in the Pro class. I did almost raw time Courtney Cormier (current ASP National champ) in the PM session. Finished 5th out of 18 in the Pro class.

In-car in a bit...

I miss NJ's pristine lot.

This was still a lot of fun (and closer), but the grip is not as good as NJ or Hershey.

I did a tire comparison since I had always wanted to run back to back Hoosiers and street tires.

I coned everything. Brian K is flying in his new car. Jon C. did very well with his new software. Ricardo was on fire, but was caught up to in the later runs.

Course deceptively appeared quite simple, but had cone snags all over. I had a strong first run, but like 4 cones. Totally thought I could place in the top 5 after my first run. Each run went by with the same, and then new cones. Frustrating, but still fun. I like the NNJR course designs better, and the lot here was a bit rough on one half. Like really rough.

I want to go back and not cone.

Doing Hershey on Saturday and then calling it a season.

yeah grip levels are not nearly like east rutherford, which is frustrating, but other than that it's a fun lot. I definitely enjoyed myself. Might have had something to do with the results though http://phillyscca.com/solo2/results/...0911.shtml#STR

Agree. Better than Waldorf by far. Worth the extra :30 drive. I want a rematch though

Freaking cones.. But look at ricardo's last run. It was the last cone on the course... So it wasn't just me.

And i know you had a good time, Jon. I don't know who wasdriving In front of you each time, but I want that person next time in front of me... That person must have hit more cones than me... And it wasn't me... Seriously.

LOL, yeah. By the last few runs the starter would tell me to go and I told him no, I need a bigger gap. Even after that there was one run that I probably should have been red flagged because I was getting close, and another run that I did get red flagged from the cone carnage ahead of me.

haha so close! Brian did the same thing to Matt Mcguire at Dover.

I helped Brian some with setup sunday morning. I told him to disconnect his rear bar, that should have almost certainly been faster than what he had. I didn't talk to him afterwards to see what he thought though.
