How much of an advantage would a 17x9 +40 be over the 17x9 +60, with the extra 20mm per side track? Is +40 doable on the rear fenders? I know people fit +45, but once you start getting that low, every mm makes a difference.

+40 on the back is doable.... However, +60 on the front with 255 will create some major rubbing on the inside, in my opinion...

I refuse to pay $229 +20 for shaved R888’s that have FAIL written all over them. Hoosier A6 245/45 ZR 17 seems to be my best option at $1,064 from Tire Rack.

Kumho V700 for $876 is a cheaper option, but I have never heard of anyone running those.

What say you? Crap, I need to buy a new wing too! (Unless anyone has one for sale)

I have also been looking at the GtechPro Fanatic top end GPS lap timer/performance device. Has anyone had any experience with them? For $299, it looks to be a good value. Any used transponders out there? Yes, I plan on coming back for real. No hard top $$ until next year, but I can run with Matt top down.
Welcome back, Lou!

I'll sell you my wing with trunk cheap for $800.

I kid,, i kid...

See you at the track soon.

I wonder how long it will take Toyo to admit they blew it?
Hoosiers will heat cycle out. I would not recommend them.

They already discontinued this wheel. Which is why I don't like buying a limited runs from smaller manufacturers.

YES!

If I ever get Cale's top fixed I will sell you my BB one.
I am fan of the 6ULRs in the correct 63 offset. They are light enough, look GREAT in black, and cost the same as the RPF1s. They have 2 air valves which is actually really convenient.

No it won't. I run 17x9 et63 with no rubbing on the inside. The 60mm of the RP01 will actually place the wheel 3 mm further out and reduce the chance of any rubbing on the suspension.

40 on the front is not really doable. You want the same offset front to rear so you can rotate wheels/tires.

Also installed a smaller SC pulley and an air pump simulator that actually works (no more stupid air pump). I went from around 3.8psi to 6.4psi peak
