Somebody who does this, correct me if I'm wrong, but from my install a few months ago, I don't see how you could get the bulkhead out without removing the bar (unless you can slice it in half like Jim did, but then you couldn't reuse it).

Just be aware that you'll have to completely remove the bar if you want to switch back and forth between having the bulkhead, or not. Pretty big PITA. Not insurmountable though.

gotcha but i wold think the initial install would be the tuff part, once everythng is in place an put in, taking it out an re-intstalling should be fairy easy
I wouldn't put up with the hassle, but I have a pretty low tolerance for hassle
If having things just right is worth the trouble, then go for it. I don't mean to sound too against the idea.

I know, that's what I was getting at. You either have to remove the bar to get the bulkhead in/out, or you can just cut it in half if the bar is already in and you don't want to take it out.

reading fail!

Lining all the bolts up and getting the nuts on can be a pain. It's not that hard, but I don't think it'd be a quick thing either.

I'm thinking it'll be an awesome experience to drive the S on a track this year. I've never done it before, and I'm more interested in having a good time then being extremly competitive. I'm competive by nature, but just want to be able to drive the car hard in a controlled environment. I'm curious if there are events/track days that would be more suited for a beginner like me, or perhaps auto cross would be a better place to start.
