I guess I'll go play just for fun and forget about having chance of podium at all.

 

Those are two of the most expensive classes in autocross. SSM is dominated by big aero, 3 rotor/turbo RX7's. Carbon body parts (or body as a whole) are the norm for both at the national level. Also, sequential trans and other expensive bits are legal. Colletts XP s2000 was something like 3 seconds per course (45s) faster than me last weekend. Just for reference.

 

Come play in SSM with me. I got 3rd once on street tires.

Man, I REALLY stunk it up out there at CDC today. Got lost 3 times!! I blame the tiny lot with all the overlap. But really I need to get back in the groove.
