No worthwhile runs today at WDCR. Cut down a tire on the fender. I 'm going to upload a pic of the car later of the car coming into the finish that will blow your guys mind lol....

Sorry I missed the event today. Slept through the alarm.

Patiently waiting on this picture... I got back from the pool trying to even out the autocross tan and was wondering why you and your co-driver only had 3 runs.

We went soft on the set-up, maybe too soft with the bumps. The car was obscenely fast. My second run was a scorcher (it seriously was), but I stopped for a downed cone in the slalom. That run was probably a mid 51 or better, and the cone wasn't really in the way. Wish I had stayed in it, but hindsight is 20/20.

WDCR event was cool insofar as it was very different, and tight... but two days of that bullshit course blew my mind. Some minor changes to the Saturday course would have been cool by me to change the dynamic of it... it was super tight, and frustrating more than anything.. needed a smaller car (STS RX7 or NA Miata would have been 100x more fun).

I can feel you on that sentiment. Although for my co-driver and I its been as much car setup as much as course layout frustration. We had massive understeer at the beginning of the season and then made the poor decision of swapping the front tires to the rear because of the wear. End result...uncontrollable oversteer even on the on camber sections both days. It seems like autocross is as frustrating as golf but much more fun even when you lose like I manage to do every weekend. Though I did enjoy working the course and turning around to watch you take out those finish cones noel. I'm sure you didn't enjoy it but its fun to see someone go for it.

You guys should drive a car that is 7-8" wider than yours! Truth be told, the sun course didn't seem to run as tight as it walked....

They took out quite a bit of time out of the sunday course by cutting out some of the start from the saturday course. But it was a little suprising to me to see how much faster people were running compared to saturday. That video from noel on saturdays course looks pretty good. I wish I could see an in car video of lin to see what the differences are. Then on sunday it looked like shane was driving that miata and ran a 62.9?!?!

I was 0.17 off Chris's 1st place on Sat, so probably similar.

Shane posted his video of today:
