2012 MD/NOVA Auto-X Thread
Patiently waiting on this picture... I got back from the pool trying to even out the autocross tan and was wondering why you and your co-driver only had 3 runs.
We went soft on the set-up, maybe too soft with the bumps. The car was obscenely fast. My second run was a scorcher (it seriously was), but I stopped for a downed cone in the slalom. That run was probably a mid 51 or better, and the cone wasn't really in the way. Wish I had stayed in it, but hindsight is 20/20.
WDCR event was cool insofar as it was very different, and tight... but two days of that bullshit course blew my mind. Some minor changes to the Saturday course would have been cool by me to change the dynamic of it... it was super tight, and frustrating more than anything.. needed a smaller car (STS RX7 or NA Miata would have been 100x more fun).

They took out quite a bit of time out of the sunday course by cutting out some of the start from the saturday course. But it was a little suprising to me to see how much faster people were running compared to saturday. That video from noel on saturdays course looks pretty good. I wish I could see an in car video of lin to see what the differences are. Then on sunday it looked like shane was driving that miata and ran a 62.9?!?!
