Seat time is almost always the best mod. Right now I'm lucky if I get to one event a month during the season. Life is too busy for me to be able to do more than that.
For those of you guys with hardtops do you just pull them off the car and leave them in the lot? Secure it somehow? I've always been kind of wary of just leaving it out in the open.

Surprisingly I don't really have wheel rub issues and when they do rub its barely rubbing. Not enough I've ever felt it would hold me back or I'd destroy fenders although maybe I'm not driving hard enough. Fender lips are rolled completely flat though and I know it helps.
One other thing I'd like to get in the near future is a gopro or something similar so I can record and playback later.

I would probably inquire prior to the D.C. Pro. I genuinely think you will have a problem. I have seen them turn away numerous 00's. It was my understanding and that of those I talked to, that the 00's were no longer legal.
00's are good til 2015. The rule states the current release (2010) and two previous (2005 & 2010) are legal.

Nope, 2010 is current until the 2015s come out. I have a 2000 helmet and have had no issues at any of the tours, 2011 sticker on it and all.

I'm unaware of any changes from last year and clearly they were legal last year.

I should be up there in two weeks for the Pro, other than that I don't know. I'm sure I'll make my way back up there at some point.
