I'm selling 4 Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs STR size: 255/40-17. These are the tires I used during the practice event. They have 3/32" tread on two and 4.5/32" on the other two. Got them from the Tire Rack hen I got my S in June 2011.

I found that they are about 0.7 seconds slower than full tread tires on a 65 second course and figure I better switch now.

They would be perfect for someone who does 1-2 events per month and wants a grippy tire (still better than almost all brands of new street tires).

$25 a piece is what I'm asking for them.

 

I have some damn near full tread 255 star specs in 18's available as well....

There is a party a friend of mine has going on Friday night. Not sure beyond that. Gotta help my buddy install springs tomorrow night till about 9:30 then get up early to run errands before the practice starts and registration.

We should organize something for Saturday - even if it is not super-extensive. Get together and shoot the shit for a while.

Some of us "local riff-raff" have transportation. (quotes are to this whacko dude in GA from Dixie)

 

Yeah we should all definitely get together. I don't get to do it often because I'm usually at the mercy of whoever has the tow vehicle. I think I'm staying at the Hampton Inn a few miles away from the site.

Yeah, I saw that "riff raff" stuff. I thought about cutting some stickers for all the riff raff to sport with pride.

 

Do I have to buy all 4 star specs if I want them? I'm definitely interested in the pair with 4.5/32s

 

Good luck guys! Damn shame I am missing this event; I was trying to help out another local since I could easily jump out. Mike, go get BSP I will definitely be trying to make another ProSolo this year. Pretty sure I am selling the race car and getting back into autox, so I am paying close attention to BS, BSP, and STR...and SS.

If anyone needs them, I have a set of brand new sticker 255/40/17 Hankook RS3s in the basement in Reston, VA if you need them for the ProSolo. Take $25 off tire rack price...
