Nissan got it right...run on empty all day, every day. I've logged 1.55-1.60 (315 A6's ftw) in sweepers with my car no fuel starve.

Noel- Not going? I really wanted to see you there. Any local AutoX this weekend?

Anthony,

I really wanted to go too, and got the time off from work and everything. I would only miss one of each of my law classes too since it's a long weekend. But the costs are high to go financially. I have to pay for the bar exam prep which is about $3.5K and is a significant factor right now. Also, because I may have to drop a lot of work to prepare for the Bar Exam starting late December through mid February, it isn't prudent to spend the $1,700 it would cost to go to Nationals between gas ($700), hotels ($700) and miscellaneous costs (est. $300). So I'm just not going

I'm up for autocross this weekend, but don't know of any events.

At least you can measure yourself with John C. and have an idea.

Absolutely. I have beaten Jon at several NJ events, and can hang with him when my car is setup well for the courses. I'm going to virtually place myself +/- 3 people from wherever he places. That'll have to be enough. I should have just taken him up on his offer for a co-driver and flown out, but I wanted to drive my car since winning or losing is something that I feel is done in my car.

I need repairs. I think air in my clutch lines is keeping it from grabbing tightly, and making it slip a bit. Need 2 bleed dem lines..

Stinks that you won't be here Noel. We'll be working while STR is running and we were looking forward to watching you battle. We're raising a toast in your honor at DaVinci's.

As for last minute fixes and late season woes, I am happy to report none of either needed for our $1500 Miata. Hope I didn't just jinx us!
