So....cutting 2.5" holes into the unibody of your car is a bit disconcerting.

Yes, it is. I've got some extra plugs if you need them.

Mike,

No. I decided it would be too expensive ($800 +) for a Pro Solo. I prefer National Tour formats. I was still going to do it, but when they changed the schedule I figured that I would rather use the time and money on a vacation or just not spent.. so maybe I'll take a trip somewhere before school starts... either way I will be doing Nationals for sure.

I think SCCA may have shot themselves in the foot by changing the schedule in effort to make more $$ since a significant number of the initially registered people bailed.

It is going to be a clusterf@#k of epic proportions if it rains on Friday. Everyone will just show up late so they can get hardship runs in the dry. A 315 person pro would be a nightmare...especially since you can only be on airport property from 7am-7pm.

I have two different types, rigid and flexible. I ended up using rigid as it seemed to work best. I drilled out a center hole big enough for the hose and cut a channel as small as possible, its about 3/32". I can take some pics if you want.

I bought fifty of each so putting a few of each in the mail to you would be no big deal. I'd probably use the $5 box from USPS and you'd get in a day.

I'm planning on setting up a group trip for next year since I think it would be a blast with more S2000 people. There is camping nearby that would be at least as much fun as the autocrossing. Black Moshannon State Park is cool as heck. I was gonn camp, but It rained Friday and art of Saturday, but I checked it out, and it was really cool.
