2016 Track Junkie Thread!
Wow, I had no idea the DTC30's had such a wide temp range.. I thought they had a similar rating to the DTC60's, just the curve shifted slightly (for the temp/friction curve). Let us know how you like them, perhaps they're a solid street/track pad for some folks.
And I just checked something - apparently Rivals have significantly less tread depth than RS-3s do as well, 7.2/32 compared to 8.8/32.
I guess that explains some of the fast wear, that's almost 1/4 less life to the wear bars at 2/32.

Hey nice runs dude. As for brake pads, I've always been a carbotech man. Their autocross pad, the AX6, would suit your street/track needs well. I prefer carbotechs because it is a ceramic pad that is easier on the rotors and the dust is non-corrosive.
Im on board with Brian and the carbotechs. The ax6 pads are a great pad for street/dragon/HPDE use. I have 1 dragon event on them with 6 hour of HPDE events on them and they have about 1/2 of the pad left. I have not had a chance to see how much meat is left on them, but I'm probably good for another 4-6 hours of track time.
skatebrian624,
Thanks. I was fast enough a couple people asked me what was done to the car, not believing it was stock power or suspension-wise <humblebrag>. It's amazing what high exit speeds do for your straightaway performance.
As for the pads, I think I'm going to give the hawks a try first just because they're over $100 cheaper a set than the carbotechs, but maybe I'll go that route eventually.

If you like Carbotech, check out G-Loc Brakes.
I wasn't able to find any cost savings using G-Loc either.
