Always fun and a nice refresher going to a new track mike. Had a good time with you out there and thanks for the car swap. Always learn alot.

The biggest difference i noticed on track was the track became very bunpy and warped since i drove there in july with nasa. I remember posting after that event that you can run very stiff spring rates because the track was so smooth. its not the case any more. A camaro lost it under the bridge brake zone (a very bumpy section of the track) and crashed. The inside line is very smooth for those that go to dominion in the future. I ended up backing off the compression and rebound a couple clicks and the car felt much beter.

Seperately, mike and i did a car swap for a couple laps and i must say his car feels realy really good.

I also drove kevins car at nccar. He has the stoptech bbk for front and rear. The ballance is absolutely amazing. After driving mikes car which has the same bbk up front. I think i will sell my essex ap racing bbk and get the stoptech. Their kit is much easier to threshold brake and stay in control. The essex bbk and no TC is alot to handle and i regularly lock up the tires. I have tried the ferrodo dsuno, pmu clubs and pmu 999.

The essex ap kit has hurt my stopping distance because the front kit has so much bite that the rear brakes litterally almost do nothing. Basically 2 wheels are trying to slow the car instead of all 4.

Yep good times Derek. I was struggling with turn 1 all day and on the last session I think I finally had a good idea how to take it. Not sure why I had so much trouble as it's really not a very complicated corner, I think I was just overthinking it. Basically you do all your braking in a straight line, turn in, then get back on the gas right away. I was trying to trail brake into it which doesn't work well. Ah well, all good, always next time. It's definitely a fun track once you have a few sessions and get a hang of it.

Good to hear what you thought of the car Derek. I couldn't get a good feel for your car because I could barely reach the pedals on your car and didn't feel comfortable really pushing it.

I think my next mods are definitely a seat/harness/hans, but really need to figure out what seat to go with. Maybe sometime next year.

Anyone doing the Oct 1/2 event at Shenandoah? I think I'm going to try and do one day, probably can't get away for 2 days..

Somewhat tested the new setup at the Dragon event this past weekend. Tires, brakes, and alignment feel great. Hoping to get some new suspension though because these springs bottom out... hoping to get out for a November event at the latest.

Signed up for Track Daze on Shenandoah. Don't think I've been on Shenandoah this year so I'm excited to go again.

Nice. I love the stoptech kit, definitely nice to not have to worry about your brakes and just drive the car. In fact, I'd attribute your brake failure a couple years ago as serious motivation for me getting a stoptech kit.
