I do, but you can't have it.

I'm also a PCA member since we own a Porsche, but I'm pretty sure you can still be an associate member without owning a P car. I'm very interested in doing a couple of PCA Potomac events as well as a NY metro.

I'm interested in getting 6-7 track events this year. This will be my 1st real year getting on the track. I put a lot of work into my S to get ready for this season, I can't wait!

Also, my neighbor down the block actually owns a club and he told me they will try to have twilight events during the week at the new Dominion raceway. He told me it will be 4-5 20 min sessions from 3-7pm, or something close to that. I'll keep this thread updated.

Late to the party, but I have something to say and show.
Just had Sparco Pro2000 II (driver side) and Pro2000 (passenger side) installed on custom seat bases by Piper and Sparco side mounts earlier this month. All interior trim pieces behind the seats were removed about 5 years ago when the rollbar was installed. As it stands now, the center console does not open all the way, but it opens enough to retrieve documents from it. The shoulder wings are wide, and they rub on the door panel a bit. I believe Piper also had to trim a bit from the wings for the door to close. No trimmings were necessary on thigh/side bolsters and it's a straight fit even with OE belt buckle retained.

Also had the harness installed at the same time. So the car is more for track than for street now. Now if I can just get rid of that glowing airbag light. LOL!

I flew in this week for a couple of days. Also picked up the car from Artin's shop. I still need to get some things done, but she's running now, 2.2 this time.

Hey Frosty Great car, you'll have a lot of fun with it on the track.
And about the airbag light... just put a piece of electric tape over it ;p

Very nice! Are the seats mounted with sliders or are they in a fixed position?

Good to hear it's up and running again! What happened to your old block? Looks like a rod came loose and did a number on the block. You gonna turn it into a coffee table or something?

I skipped the silders because I want the seats low and I'm the only one driving the S. Since the S is no longer my DD, the need to adjust the seating position between street and track driving is minimal. I can add sliders on top of the custom base and attach the Sparco side mounts onto sliders, but that'll add about another inch to seat height. As it is, the custom base Piper fabricated allows MANUAL adjustments fore and aft. By manual I mean: taking the seat out, loosen the bolts, and move the seat along the base. LOL

No coffee table, I just junked it. I'm not even sure that it's straight, meaning it might rock
First rod number one went, sanding the cylinder bounce up and down inside the sleeve while bending the intake valve a bit, then rod on cylinder two went, thats when the whole engine grenaded, with both rods blowing holes in the block... even the oil pan cracked. There might have been some signs of the event prior to it blowing up, but the supercharger noise masked everything so I was unable to tell.
Most likely cause of the failure is oil starvation of the bearings due to clogged oil passages.

The good news though is that I was able to source out a new bracket so the supercharger kit is complete. I might put it back on or sell it.... not sure yet.
