ASAP top replacement
LONG STORY SHORT: Does anyone know if the non-glass replacement tops from TopsOnline require riveting/serious frame work, or can you just put them on?
THE LONG STORY:
Bleh... so while I was cruising at 60 MPH today, the portion of the soft top that runs along where the top meets the windshield ripped. It had a few minor holes in it, but it is now seriously separated. Fortunately, I was able to pull over before the entire thing pulled right off!
I knew I was going to be in the market for a new top this summer, but my timetable has accelerated somewhat. I'm checking out the great tops from TopsOnline, and need some help deciding. I read that the glass top requires some modifications, and I talked to a very helpful guy at Robbins, who sent me the install guide, and sure enough, there's riveting involved. I just don't feel comfortable with that. Does anyone know if the "regular" (ie plastic-window tops) require the major conversions that involve riveting, or is that just to support the glass tops?

Thanks for the help, all - Bel Air is a freakin' hike from where I live, but the guy at Enterprise was great. In fact, he was able to get one ordered and have it here by next Fri and do the install, which fit my timeline perfectly.
