Well it got more expensive today when I decided to add a quick detach feature from Ritz Camera. The mount that I bought provides swivel and 360* of rotation.

But I am still well below the $148 mount that is the one that I found on line.

see link posted above, the 50-60$ one is nice. cannot swivel 360 degrees (cant make the little o on my laptop lol) but is pretty cheap and worth it imo.

Have you actually used this one, or just seen it online? I'm scared that those suction cups would give out and I'd lose my camera. $$$$

I have one and it will NOT fall off. If you are still unsure then you can run a safety rope into the car or secure it some other way.
