Thats a good point Anime. I know Fairfax Honda was willing to install the parts but they wouldnt warranty any of the work or parts. I ended up finding a different company instead. If it's warranty work the dealership probably wont accept aftermarket parts. You'll have to let us know how it turns out.

i have the HardtopGuy setup as well (with the exception of the ACT disc) and it feels pretty much stock. The first few days are the only exception during which you will have to rev to get off the line because the clutch only has 2 positions, engaged or not engaged (very strong pedal, I kinda liked it). After that it will soften up dramatically, yet remain crisp.

As far as performance gains, well, I don't know about anyone else but my car feels noticeably quicker, especially in the higher rpms. In fact, since getting the clutch installed I start to wonder if A. I have a factory freak or B. my stock clutch was making me slower than normal. I now spin the tires (not chirp, but a full, ls1-like spin) when shifting to 2nd and chirp into 3rd. Before, I couldn't even chirp 2nd! Of course it is colder out now, but this has been happening since I got the clutch in September and after the tires had been warmed up.

If you can't get the clutch installed, maybe they can at least remove your delay valve.

Cliffs Notes: Get the clutch. I am very satisfied.

I have an Exedy hyper single clutch/flywheel kit; here are some pros and cons in my opinion:

PROs
Extremely lightweight; quick rev-matching, low range throttle response.
Heavy pressure plate/solid hub disc; good launch control and grip.
Less strenuous on synchos; less mass required match gears.

CONs
Daily drivability is definitely sacrificed; very loud when off throttle because of solid hub- vibrates and buzzes.
Doesn't like feather launching all too much; very loud and chattery.
Falls out of peak range faster than stock; requires constant quick shifting.

All in all-- all out performance is unmatched but traffic is very annoying.

get a competition clutch and you won't have to worry about that problem. The clutch pedal feel is like stock.

ANY "HEAVY DUTY" pressure plate is NOT good for your motor.

A good clutch is designed to incrase gripping force THROUGH the clutch disc design, and NOT just enhancing the pressure plate pressure.
i have a competition clutch stage 4 and a comptech flywheel. and the pedal pressure is completely different from stock, it is a lot stiffer. So i dont know if that statement was just towards stage 1 or stage 2 clutches because stage 4 is a totally different world.
But needless to say, stage 4 is a really agressive clutch, its fun to drive but at the same time its not the greatest for stop and go. But what upgraded clutch is? And as for as feeling a difference with power or reving faster with the flywheel and clutch compared to stock... Its very slight but i do pull away from other S2000's with the same mods excluding clutch and flywheel.
Hope this helps a little bit.
