I just went and test drove an 04 and i didnt like the response at all. The cltuch felt even lighter then a civic. MY 2000 is a really stiff clutch. The 04 felt like the clutch was slipping and it was extreqmly light. So now i am wondering sense i bought mine used if i have the stock clutch. I test drove a few and thouhgt they were all stiffer, but im not positive. The 04 just wasnt near as fun to drive, i would never trade my 00 for it. Was the one i drove bad, or do they all feel like that? When i shiffted, i coudlnt tell if the clutch was slipping or the tires were spinning. THey told me the one i test drove had been wrecked, so im hoping that was one of the causes. Id never heard anyone talk about this on the boards, so if everyone could say how their clutch feels, it would be appreciated. Becuase i bought my 00 used, i have no idea if the clutch is stock or what, but the car had 14k miles and appeared completly stock.

It's just a new car and the clutch feels easier - it will stiffen with time like yours has.
