Default Cold air intakes

Ok, i know there are tons of posts on this, but i just may now be able to afford my first performance upgrade(unless you count the team voodo shift knob) for the S. It seems to me its either AEM or Injen. I know a lot of people here have one or the other on their car and i'm looking for info. Like ease of install and overall satisfaction. Thanks.

I'm not 100% sure on the AEM or Injen, but I think you will have to remove/reroute hoses - that is the hardest part.

When ACLR8 and I were installing my Comptech CAI we had a hell of a time just pulling the hoses off, but it is all worth it

There should be an instruction manual .pdf file somewhere around here on the Injen and AEM..........

Take a look at the Comptech CAI Instruction Manual, and look at steps 1-3. These are the hoses it looks like you will have to replace/remove/remount in any intake.

Here is a picture of the Injen Intake - the red hoses are all replacement hoses.

I know you are debating primarily between the AEM & Injen, but i would like to highly recommend the Comptech. Pointy has it and that thing just sounds down-right beautiful.

just my $.02
