Detailing Services
First off I don't know if this the appropriate section for this or not but if it isn't, I will gladly remove this.
In the last few years I have been working with my Porter Cable and have gotten pretty good at machine polishing cars and decided that I would make this a weekend hobby since I'm sure there are people out there that want to have their car look new but don't have the time, space, or resources to achieve their needs. I decided that I would do this on a weekend depending on when I'm free. Its not a full time job for me. It's something that I enjoy doing. The prices that I charge, I think are very reasonable with the service that is given.
I offer anything from the basic wash/wax to a 3 step paint cleaning/polish. I use mostly Menzerna products since I have had some really good results with it and it seems to be the best for clearcoats. I have worked on everything from an s2000 which has really soft clearcoat or a WRX which is a hard surface coat to get corrected properly.
The best method to get in touch with me is via email since I don't get to spend too much time on the forums. My email address is mclaren5487@gmail.com. We can discuss setting up an appointment and looking over the car to see how much work is needed to get the results that you may be looking for based on your budget.
If you have any questions, concerns, or just pointers on the right product or tool, shoot me an email and I will try to help you out.
I'll post up a price list when I get home.
Thanks!

1: Get insurance if you plan on working on other people's cars, other than friends that you trust and that trust you. Burn through the clear, dig a scratch, break a wiper blade, what have you, and be paying out of pocket.
2: This could quite easily be construed as a commercial advertisement, and therefore not allowed unless you're a vendor/site sponsor.
3: Good luck. I did it for a couple of summers on my own and still do now and then. It was rewarding, but a PC is not a tool built for speed. Look into a Flex forced rotation orbital. Faster and better correction. Also look at MF pads for polishing. They work better than foam for correction.
