Dumb things to say on a Friday at work
So I'm looking forward to going home (and I'm still in the office now), and my boss walks in and comments about the S parking next to his car. I say something like "Of course I'm faster blah blah blah", so he just says "Okay, title-for-title race."
He's got a Lexus SC 430 (I suppose that comes with a V8 - he said he's got the "souped-up engine"). Anyone knows how that Lexus does compared to a !stock! AP2?

I had a rolling race with one from about 15 20 or so to maybe 70 and he got a little jump from the torque at which point I pulled ONLY about a half a car maybe 3/4's. This guy had some crazy looking brown/orange paint with gunmetal stockers. It looked great
I'm typically not a fan of them but this one looked pretty good.
This was the color, tigereye mica.

...but in this downturned economy, I would advise you to leave the whole thing alone. If he is *serious* about title-for-title, one of two things definitely happens, and a 3rd option might easily arise:Option 1 - He wins...and you're out your S (got enough $$$ laying around to cover that loss?)
Option 2 - He loses...and you add a Lexus to your stable (sounds good in principle
)Option 3 - As a result of option 2...
...you have no job within 6 monthsJust saying is all... A few years back I raced a senior co-worker when we came upon each other during lunch. Not my boss mind you...just an employee a few grades higher than me at the time, within a corporate office of approx. 500 at the time. He reved on me, I accepted, and I beat him light-to-light twice. Today that same co-worker is VP of a department I want to get into. There is a position I'm dying to get within his department. I've interviewed, and am very well-qualified. I also have a twinge of expectation that I'll not hear of a job offer...given egos and a sunny afternoon lunch break that I over-indulged in those few years ago.

PS. Of course, if you're confident in your position at work, and don't believe egos would get in the way of anything...then by all means, accept his challenge.
