Default Fuel Filter? I want one

planning on changing mine saturday. looking first to see if someone has an extra they need to get rid of. call me

You're planning on removing the fuel pump in order to replace the fuel filter? Its designed to last the life of the car. If you still want to replace it, a dealer isn't even gonna have it in stock.

I think he is trying to tell you that the only fuel filter that an S2000 has is the small mesh filter on the end of the fuel pump, in the fuel tank. There is no inline filter to change.

didn't sound like brain surgery before doesn't sound like it now. i dont mean to sound arrogant i am just looking for a fuel filter. plugs are said to be good for 100k, most change them sooner.

More bluntly, the "fuel filter" is just a sock on the end of the fuel pump pickup. It

A better way to interpret the replies is that you'll want to order it through Honda parts dept local to you. No one here on the boards is likely to have one sitting in their home shop/garage. You might also try to order through www.hardtopguy.com. Won't find it on his website directly...but an e-mail through his "Contact Us" link asking for what you want, should do the trick & for the least amount of $$$ over that of a local parts dept.
