Read over on Miata.net that some folks lit a port-o-john on fire Saturday night over near T8.

Good to see everyone, I was busy instructing and missed most of the visitors, thanks for the water Mike .


Mani locking up and sliding in the oil dry and nearly sideswiping a F430 convertible.... .....I quickly solo'ed him after that....

On track I was able to nail a few 1:33's, I am certain I would have been faster on the older track surface. There are huge ruts in 1 and 5 that really upset the car. I was straddling them in turn 1 and taking 5 super tight on the inside (left wheel inside the curbing)

^ ya supposedly someone tried to steal James Evan's drift car and someone else got Tased by the cops....

that event had more wiggers than i haver ever seen. White guys with their "tims", crooked hats, etc.... what you woudl have expected to see the city folks doing 5 years ago...

I saw 2 "dads" who looked to be close to 30 with their pants way down, boxers sticking out by 5".. tat's, piercings..... a very ****ed up looking group!!!

 

We didnt see much of that from our end of the pits...gladly...

We did wander down for the drifting and free food. I found the food much better than the drifting sillyness.

 

Amazing pics as always! Looking forward to seeing more this week. You should have swung by and said hello. Although I might have seen you this weekend. I saw a few photographers taking pictures of my car.

 

I am kinda pissed at myself for not making the time to see you guys on Saturday... I even purchased entry for both Bobbie and I but never made it back after Friday night.

Glad everyone had a great time and that no one got too badly beat up.

 

Now we all know where S2000's get our bad rep from....


Yeah. I saw you praying in Mani's last solo session that he doesn't go off-roading. "Rally Mani" is his new nick name given by Eric (Coscoplayer).

 

It's always a great event when no one gets hurt or cars get beaten up. You should have came Jeff.
