I had a blast this weekend. Loved the crowds and the girls. The track could have been in better shape though. Turns 1, 5, and 6 were all rippled up. I had to take different lines through there to avoid some of the ripples.

This weekend was also my first time in HPDE3. I was a bit anxious at first thinking all these guys were going to be really fast and passing in the turns. After the first session though, I felt really comfortable after I passed like eight cars or so and no one passed me. Then I started passing cars in the middle of turns, sometimes going through the turns side-by-side. That was a blast!

I also got my fastest time at this track with a 1.28.1 on day one, second session, but I didn't get a faster time after that. I was having too much fun passing people offline going into every single turn at this track.

Cale - do you remember the guy in the blue M3 that competed against you in TTC at the March VIR event? Well, he was in my group, and today, he went off at turn 7 and hit the tire wall. His front end was crumpled and he went to the hospital to get his neck checked out. I think he's ok although his car is pretty much done.

Mani got solo'ed today. I'm sure he'll be in HPDE 3 at VIR. All I know is that I'm staying away from him. He'll tell you about the incident with the Ferrari.

It was nice meeting Mike too. It's good to put a face to a screen name. Thanks for bringing us some water too. It was hot as hell this weekend. It was also good to see Lou, his wife, and Eric again. I hope you all had fun at the event.

It was also nice talking to John, Scot, Eric and the Honda Challenge guys. Too bad John's left A arm broke on Saturday, and he couldn't race on Sunday. Hope you get that fixed soon John. I think both John and Scot were running in the 23's. That's real fast. Hope to get there one day.

George, Mani - as always, it was great hanging out with you guys! We also missed the other regulars like Pete, Skip and Barrie. Wish you guys were there.

One more thing... I softened up the front sway bar from the fifth stiffest hole to the fourth, and the car felt more neutral. The understeer that I was getting is gone. Now, I just have to get more seat time and get faster.

Cale - I forgot to mention your text message to John. Sorry.

I packed up before the last session since they were running late, and I saw the clouds coming in. I was a bit tired too. So, we missed the sprinkles. There was no rain though.

Rolled in Saturday morning to find a full/overflowing paddock area and nowhere to pit, I thought I was in for a long and chaotic weekend, but I was completely wrong, what a blast!!

It was a very well run operation the entire weekend!! I wish I had gotten more track time though(only three 25 minute runs each day), but, the races(which were awesome btw ) compensated for the fun factor!! I will do this again!!

Will post pics(including some scantily clad womenz ) soon!!

I'll have all the photos up by Thursday at the latest, probably by Wednesday, though. I just got home an hour ago

It was nice seeing / meeting everyone at summit. My car sucks on that course when racing against Chris and Kevin.... they have more hp and less weight.... whine whine whine....

JFO did a great job of entertaining... .especially giving the firecrackers to the kids to play with.

sucked that JFO's car attempted suicide on the first ****ing lap of saturday's race!!!! ..... partically took out one of them *colored's* in the process.
