Anybody ever replaced their window motors/regulators before? The cable on my regulator popped off the other day. I took off the door panel, but it is still hard to see things, especially since I don't know where it popped off from. I ordered a new regulator used off ebay. The dealership wants $600 to install a new motor and regulator (they say they are one piece) and I don't really want to pay that. Anyway, I am wondering if anybody would be able to help me either this weekend or the next weekend...I'll buy beer/food or whatever else.

Its super easy. If you took the door panel off, you can install the regulator/motor assembly.

Just unbolt it from the glass, pull the glass out, unbolt all the bolts that hold the regulator and motor to the door, remove, and reinstall. Basic hand tools and some patience are all that are needed.
