I could probably help you out with the TCT. That is SUPER easy. The MAP whack is no biggy either.

HOWEVER...

The valve job is a bit beyond me. I've watched it being done a few times but I lack the balls go digging in someone else's engine. Hell... I won't even do my own!

Now that the weather is getting nicer and the days are longer, I'm more than willing to roll into Fairfax some weeknight after work. Weekend are tough, though...

Let me know if I can help out.

actually, i have a spare one lying around. I misdiagnosed a problem I was having a couple years ago and changed it. It's an original MY00 with ~37,000 miles. No box, but all the parts necessary for the job (tensioner, pin, spring, etc). let me know if your interested.

People always made it seem like the valve job was easy but if jeff wont even do it on his own car then im just going to the dealership and let them F around with my engine

I got mine from http://www.hardtopguy.com. Jeff (HTG himself) is also a board sponsor.

I'm sure you could find one at your local dealer if you don't like shipping stuff. Or Majestic Honda (http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com) also sells them on their site. It can be a PITA to navigate, though.

That's up to you, dude.

I will say that when you buy the part new, it comes all together and is significantly easier to install. I could see where there might be issues if it is all in bits. From what I have been told, it is a little tricky to put back together once it all comes apart.

Nothing against krazy, but if it were me, I'd get a new one. I'm anal that way, though.
