Just got back home. John, thanks for putting on a quality event. It was great to meet several of the people I've seen on here. Everyone was really cool. I had a good time and most importantly, I got 3 oils changed. Now if only I could find that wheel key...

Glad everyone could make it!! We aren't quite as fast as NASCAR pit crews yet, but we got a lot done in just a few hours.

Hopefully that GM Synchromesh FM stuff works well in everyone's S - it seemed to clear up the 1 - 2 shift issue I was having.

Peter, let us know how the oil drain plug deal works out. I didn't think of it while you had the car here, but since you are losing oil out of the filler plug you'll want to make sure you check it often. Some of these cars seem to use a bit of oil without dumping any extra on the ground .

Time to crawl into the shower and try to get that red oil off of me!

Everyone, especially John and +1 Diane,

Diane, hats off to you for the excellent chili.
John, hats off to you for having all the right tools for the jobs that we did. As the old saying goes: "any job is easier if you have the right tools".

Nice meeting the rest of you guys that attended. I learned (by the looks of some of the "diff lube") not to wait 15K miles to change it.

P.S. John: If you need to have us testify that those red stains in your driveway are in fact not blood let us know.
