Default Need help with Recaro pole position

I was wondering if anyone in central va would be willing to let me sit in their pole position seats?

Im 6ft tall and about 200lbs everything I've read says I sould fit in the seat however i would really like to make sure before I order my seat. Because of the recall on the pole positions it looks like it will be a few months before I can get one and if I don't fit comfortably in the seat I will have to find something else to make me more comfortable in the car.

I am 6'4" 206+-3 lbs and I do not fit in them. Not even close to fitting. Problem is not my height or the weight. I look fit(-ish) for someone 206 lbs thanks to my height. Problem is my hip, if you have a small hip and waist you might be lucky. Also my shoulders wasn't comfortable as well when I tried to squeeze in it just to check. My shoulders are 19 inches wide, and ass-hip(largest circumference) is 40 inches.

So yeah I hope you can find someone to try the seat out because I also thought I would fit in them fine, but I was very wrong.
Best of luck, I just know how hard it is to fit inside this car when you are tall.

Thank you very much for your reply, that's my main concern I have wide shoulders. I've had several recaro seats in the past and the only ones that really fit me well was the Dc5 recaro but it was a little tight around my thighs

I really hope I can find someone too bc if the pole positions don't work for me I may have to sell my car which would kill me

There are other seats you can get, lots of them. You might also need lower seat rails so that you have more leg room between the steering wheel.
IMO selling this car because you do not fit in a specific brand seat would be a huge waste.
It is like not running anymore because a Nike shoe you want doesn't have your size, just get another one that fits you.

Ive considered the BYS rail but from what ive seen it only lowers the bottom of the seat which seems like it would make my lumbar support issue worse.

Do you know what other seats fit the car without having any major modifications? Almost every seat ive reacheared seems to either fit the car without any modifications or seems like it would fit me but I would loose the glove box or have to shave the side of the seat.

Thanks again for the input
