found this thread researching, this is a gang i trust.

about to do the same mods, x-brace and sway bar.

I'm thinking Cusco or Muz (whiteline). Any thoughts? I can get the Cusco Type-2 Lower Tie Bar for $140 shipped, but the sway bar seems much more difficult to find.

Is the whiteline swaybar as stiff as the Cusco? Is it better to go all one brand, or can i mix brands?

I have a Cusco front sway bar sitting in the garage. I didn't agree too much with my Buddy Clubs, caused too much understeer, so I put a '00 one on there instead. I have no idea how a stock suspension car will handle with the Cusco though. PM me if you're interested in a used sway bar.

My man!!! How's the wee one? Not walking yet I presume, but probably motoring around, yeah?

The underbrace that I have, Muz, may or may not have added tremendous amounts of rigidity, but one thing is for sure. That thing has saved my oil pan many, many times. I know it's a little flatter down there.

As for swaybars, mine is adjustable... it's been adjusted one time. Most folks put a bar on and then forget it. So my recommendation is to get one that is stiffer and not worry about being adjustable. Stiffening the front controls the rear. As Tony stated, this will produce an increase in understeer. That is not to say it will cause enough understeer to "push," only that there will be an increase.

Man, we had a great time at your place last year. Memories forever!

Oh she's walking, talking, playing, swimming, doing quite a bit. Everyday is a pleasure.
Daddyhood has been great for me, just soaking it up. I want more. I'll PM the address for her website if you're interested.

About the car: I've been suffering from snap oversteer (who hasn't) and i thought the sway bar will do the trick. I want to stiffen up the front a bit as well, and the x brace seems like a logical conclusion. Thanks for your advice, the Mid-A forum is full of knowledgeable people like yourself. I knew i could count on you guys for advice, and now i'm getting a sway bar from one of your own. You've got a friend in Florida!

It was great having you down bro! I knew you'd enjoy a few days at the beach. Lurked your home theatre project. Parts Express sells some pretty good in wall speakers, if you want something in there before you go hi-fi.

Tinker129 is coming down this April. That should be fun. His turbo is something else.

Thanks Guys!
