it was warmed up, it wasnt just once. I noticed it slightly in 2nd, and did a few pulls in 1st, as to stay within the speed limit, and its much worse in first, I'll check out the filter. Thanks guys

I guess i wasnt very clear either, it doesn't feel like vtec is engaged, it feels like its just at 7k, its wasnt hitting the rev limiter because it was cold

to clarify: it sounds like vtec as usual at 6k rpm, but it doesn't seem to kick until 7K, sorry about the confusion.
