System in hand as already stated in the other threads. Janet wants me to keep it, but I think that's because she always wants to give the children the world every Christmas. I purchased the extended warranty as if we were to keep it. Kind of leary about first gen stuff, although our PS2 is still kickin' and our HD-DVD player has had zero problems.

If you keep it...for some reason , I feel a compulsive need to invite you down to visit us again

I'm planning to purchase some of the games today at TRU during lunch. I need to burn some of these friggin' Geoffrey Dollars I'd been saving up (before they expire! ). All I've got going for me now is the hope that Sony will come through with some number of the supposed 600K more they "say" they plan to drop-ship to North America by year's end .

up to $2300 on ebay....I'd consider selling it and waiting a bit and rebuy it at normal price later.

Nevermind....some are over 5 grand.....rediculous. I'd love to buy it for my kid and smash it in front of them. I guess I'd be a shitty parent.

Although all the 'flip' sells on eBay blow (to a guy like me that simply wants a PS3)...I think the $2K+ [ballpark] prices in eBay are indicative of legitimate bids. These $5K...and last night I saw one going for over $8K ...those bids I honestly believe are nothing more than 'sour-grapes' bidders that are trashing an auction

HAHA!

http://cgi.ebay.com/Sony-Playstation-3-PS3...1QQcmdZViewItem

This guy made an account "IHATEGREEDYPEOPLE" and bid $10,000 just to make a point that this is getting out of control.

**EDIT**

Sorry Skip, I'll stop whoring your thread.
