Got the call from GameStop tonight. I can pick up my console Friday morning at 0900.

No call yet, maybe that means that everyone will be getting theirs, atleast up until me anyways. I am really not worried as I was like # 4 and #5 at both my gamestops and they are both getting 16 (supposedly).

 

btw, Midnight release FTW!

 

LOL, just got the best message from gamestop -- it went something like this " hi this is matt from gamestop, we just found out that our allocation of ps3s was smaller than expected. Although you are guaranteed yours because you are first in line, we would like to offer you a free used game or dvd valued up to 20 dollars if you would offer to wait untill out next shipment. please let us know if you would like to take this offer, or if you will be picking up your order as expected" i called him back and had to "respectfully decline that offer as tempting as it was"

 

Suuuuuure...a used DVD is DEEEEEEFINITELY worth waiting until [a likely March '07] shipment :jerkoff:
