today driving to work i had the maintenence required light flash at me for about 3 intersections then just stop. milages was at 13540 exactly anyone have a clue what i may want to check myself before i give up the car a few days to the shop? Has anything like this happened to anyone else?

I think it flashes at about 6000 miles clocked on your maintenance timer... it'll start to blink every time you start your car as well until 7500 when it's time to change. If you've changed it recently, it's probably because the shop forgot to reset it or doesn't know how to. Either way, if you want to reset the maintenance timer, it's in the manual by Oil Change.
