guys i have a 01 s i was wondering if anyone here has had their rear plastic window replaced.. if so let me know how much u spent and where did u get it done.

you can get a new plastic replacement, it would be the easiest.

If someone can find an old there, there was someone that did do the glass swap into the 01 softtop, but it looked pretty intense labor wise. Took him like all day i believe.

or,

You can spend the money and buy a whole new soft top from a 02+ and replace the whole thing....

 

I had the same thing happen to me a few months ago. I went to an upholstery shop in C'VILLE called Danny's Upholstery on 1304 East Market st (434)977-1974. He only charged me $300 for the window and the labor. It took a few hours, but he did a great job. He was working on a Porsche for Dave Matthews. If that is too far away from you, try finding an upholstery shop, they might do convertible tops.
