Second warning from HOA
Yeah I knew I shouldn't yell or anything at the woman, I just walked in real nice like and wanted to see what she would say.
I'm probably way off on my assumption of the HOA president, I'm sure he's a cool guy

Well it gets better. I stopped by today to pickup the headlights. What was missing? The wiring for them. There is a fairly long bundle of wires that goes with them (since they are aftermarket and replace the entire headlight assembly).
So my headlights are kinda worthless without the wiring. I told the concierge if she could leave a note to the guy and ask what he may have done with the wiring. My best guess is he threw them out thinking they were trash, hopefully not.
But yeah, I'm in the process of looking for a place to move to. Considering it's a buyer's market....hmmmm.

Buyers have the power and all it'll take to end the Nazi-like HOA (esp. in this economy) is if homebuyers refuse to buy a house based on the HOA contract.
You could tell the seller and agent that there will be no sale if you have to abide by the HOA rules. It's sort of like my Dad told me "The one who pays the bills makes the rules". If the HOA wants to pay your mortgage then they can make the rules but if you're paying the mortgage then you make the rules.
All the BS about what color you can paint your walls, what kind of trees you can have, how tall your grass can be, what kind of car you can park in your driveway, etc. Christ, it's like the Gestapo.
Grow a pair and refuse to put up with the BS. But then in 2002, I said that about paying insanely high prices for a house and no one listened to me then, so I'm sure they won't now.
