Back on 4 Dec 03 when my S was my DD I got to find out first hand just how bad S-02 (summer tires) could be in the snow. When turning off a treated road onto the side road that I live off of I could not keep the car pointed where I wanted to go in second gear at just six MPH. It was the scariest ride of my life to get home that night.

Subsequently I purchased a set of Dunlop winter tires and could not believe how well they worked in even fairly deep snow when the belly pan on the S was dragging.

I've not done much on the S but I would be game too(Eric's prob got much more experience per the application). My garage will most likely have a torn down EF, but the driveway is big, if you do it at Eric's I'd love to hang out if thats not an issue.

Always up for learning more.

P.S. I'm in Glen Burnie.
