Thinking about Autocross in the Mid A?

I don't think a front swaybar would help you in that pic.
If it makes you guys feel any better there was a bit of a bump in the surface which contributed to the lift.
You should see the pic where the wheel is sticking out an inch from the tire almost breaking the bead. 36 psi tire too.
Autocross is a great way to learn car-control skills.
Even if someone is thinking of only tracking their car, they should also sign up for autocross events. You can't learn car control safely at the limit as quickly at a track event as you can at an autocross event.
I autocrossed for about one season in Savannah before I moved up here. I've also done two trackdays. Autocrossing is the cheapest and safest way to learn car control and racing lines. Also, it's fun to hang out with a bunch of car guys for a day. Trackdays are more expensive and you get more seat time, but in some ways an autocross is more challenging since you're making more control input during each run then you would over a lap at a race track. There are still some spots available for the NASA event. Go Racing!
If you love driving I would definitely recomment Auto X. I've only been to 3 events and I definitely learned a lot. I think besides all the car control that you will learn, you will also learn a lot of driving discipline.

I'd like to think I fall into the latter, but whether or not I'm a good tracker is up for debate.

If you have an interest I'm sure you will enjoy it. Hook up with me at one of the local events and you can do a ride along, you'll be hooked.
