Not sure where you are, but CDC has an event @ Baysox Stadium in Bowie on the 27th and SCCA has an event on the 28th @ FedEx in Landover.

I would not describe CDC as a "fast" event, so you should check out the SCCA event. Its the last event of the season for SCCA and I've heard people say the last event last season was one of the best courses they've ever run.

The ACU-4 events end in Nov as does the SCCA regular series but, there are usually several winter events held at Pungo Airfield in VB during the winter.

Someone had leased it and had the exclusive rights to it, they have since gone out of business and Pungo is available. Screws were also found but when the owner was notified they the remaining were removed immediately. Pungo has had events there all summer. Beachcombers, Rat Pack, ODR and TSCC rent the site during the winter. Although I expect there will be fewer this year, there will be some.

Mercedes event are fun. Only about 40-50 cars and I banged off the rev limiter in 2nd gear three to four times per run at the last event.

Hmm, CDC's AutoX for 9/27 is closed to sign ups -- but will they still open it up to non-members this Friday like they normally do?

If they do, Apeatwo you may still be able to attend.

Mercedes club is a lot of fun -- but the next one is October 12th, then November 2nd
