I'd love to try it out. No experience at the track or autox. One thing that has kind of held me back is cost. I would imagine that tracking my car would require frequent replacement of brakes, tires, etc. I gotta learn how to do some of those things in my garage so I'm not taking it to the dealer$hip every time!

I checked out the Capital Driving Club website and it looks like this year is already full.
The casual autocrosser will not have to worry about any of those things as long as their car is in good street driven mechanical condition. Tire life is only slightly shortened with the occasional event.

I'd like to track my car, on other than circuitcrosses, but if I ball up a car I'm not at a point where I could just walk away from it. I've been thinking about a dedicated track car but I don't think I really want to deal with that.

I saw my first autoX today in Bowie. It seemed very interesting. Bug may be biting a lil bit.

I don't think a front swaybar would help you in that pic.

With my Comptech bar I get a fair amount of roll but rear lift is limited.

Sinner!!!

That top should be down no matter what

I'm surprised Pete left his antenna in. That's more drag slowing him down.

Anyone planning to go to the Pungo (Virginia Beach) event this Sunday. If not, weather permitting, I might drive the Prelude. Otherwise I'll be giving rides in the S.

I'm going to miss all of the local autocrosses between now and the VA Championships on Oct 18-19 due to scheduling conflicts. I want to run a fast event before the championship and I'm looking for recommendations. I have Sept 27-28 available and Oct 11-12.

Anybody know of a good event on either of those weekends in the Mid A?

Thanks.
